August Blog Hop

Welcome to our August Blog Hop!!  The card we were asked to make this month comes from ideas in our Holiday Catalog.  It was so hard choosing which card to make - there are so many cool stamps, sets, papers, ideas!!  You are really going to enjoy looking through this catalog.  The card I chose was way to simple and it is for Christmas - of course! That's my most favorite time of the year.  I used Cherry Cobbler Card Stock (#127846) as the main background and used paper from the Festival of Prints DSP (#126904) for the other colors.  There are so many prints to choose from in this collection and the great thing is that all the prints coordinate with each other.  The stamp is called "Heart of Christmas" (#128129) and comes as a single stamp on wood.  The ribbon is Ruffled Ribbon in Lucky Limeade (#122977) and Vanilla Ribbon Taffeta.  2 brads finished it off.
There are so many great ideas in the rest of the blogs you will be visiting.  Please click on the links below and have fun looking at all the wonderful ideas.  Please contact me for more ideas or to set up a workshop. I would love to be able to open up your creativity and I love to have fun stamping with others!!

Thanks for visiting!!

The card I made was really simple. I used a new stamp from the 2012-2013 Catalog called World Treasures along with Mixed Bunch flowers. The colors are the new Midnight Muse and Twiterpated patterned paper.I like to ink the sides of m pages sometimes to give the card a different look.  Twine was used in the buttons.

This 2nd card was from a stamp called Betsy's Blossoms.
